Native bees are essential for a healthy planet. I wanted to provide a way to help backyard bee enthusiasts learn about native bees so that they might be better equipped to identify and track where they are spotted. By encouraging the public to learn about and “spot” native bees, they may be inspired to join the movement to protect these and other pollinator species. Bee Spot was created using Adobe XD as a teacher example for my course Design for Change.
Although I taught digital photography to high school students for five years, I hold a personal preference for film photography. Here are a few of the images I've captured with my 1970s-era analog camera, which were digitally scanned and edited, as needed, using Adobe Lightroom.
Logo I designed to promote the Graphic Design Pathway. Used on t-shirts, posters, stickers, and water bottles.
